Instead of crating your dog in a big, ugly plastic or metal box, why not house the darling in a lovely piece of furniture? After all, your dog is already part of the warp, woof and woodwork of your life. The folks at Hardwood Hideaway have designed lovely wooden containers for doggies (and kitties) desirous of a special den. These are expensive and do not suffer dirty work -- ie. your pets should be housetrained before you introduce these.
Dog Lady is particularly taken by the notion of the graceful box in the bedroom, which seems so very civilized. Hardwood Hideaway also makes Zen ovals made of fiberglass and in various colors. All of the containers are pricey but they look like they are built to endure -- unless chomped to shreds.
