Caring Canines

Dog Lady remembers speaking during Volunteer Appreciation Day to members of the Caring Canines, a remarkable non-profit group of healers who take their dogs into schools, nursing homes and hospitals to comfort the afflicted. All participants in Caring Canines -- on two or four feet -- have big hearts. Dog Lady, while flattered to have been asked to address this pet crowd, couldn't impart any wisdom they didn't already know about keeping and loving an animal.
