A Snowball's Chance In Hell

The waters have receded. The clean up begins. The world's largest animal shelter in Gonzales, Louisiana has closed. And the legend of Snowball has morphed into myth. Still, the Web reminders linger about the terrible toll of Hurricane Katrina.

The Web site that began as a quest and a plea for reward money to reunite a dog named Snowball with its owner has grown into a chaotic space filled with stories of loss and rescue. Dog Lady finds all this very badly designed but quite compelling.
