Dear Dog Lady,

Seems every supermodel carries around a dog in her arms. Have little yappers become hot fashion accessories?

Heidi, thanks for lobbing this slowball to Dog Lady. For the lonely supermodel, tired of stylists and sycophants, a dog offers genuine creature comfort. So let's not begrudge her for carrying the darling around like a hobo bag -- or in the hobo bag.

However, she should keep her dog off the catwalk because blank happens when dogs are forced to perform in places they don't belong. A dog needs fresh air and sunshine to strut its stuff. A dog-toting supermodel should know this as surely as she knows a Prada hobo from Miu Miu.
